Swami Advayananda Saraswati

Swami Advayananda was inspired by the teachings of the visionary saint Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda and joined Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Mumbai, the Gurukula of the Chinmaya Mission, at a young age of 18.
Swamiji also served as the Resident Acharya of the 19th Vedanta Course at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Mumbai.
Devoted to the study and teaching of Vedanta, and with many Gita and Upanishad discourses to his credit, Swami Advayananda has authored several books on Vedanta such as the Holy Gītā Ready Reference, The Gordian Knot of Self-effort and Destiny; various Home Study Courses on Vedanta such as the Advanced Vedanta Course.
He also played a pivotal role in the research and coordination of Upanishad Ganga, a television series depicting the wisdom of the Upanishads.

Presently, Swamiji is serving as the President of Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF) and as a Trustee of Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth (CVV), and serves the vision in furthering the study, research, and dissemination of Indian Knowledge Systems and their application in contemporary knowledge fields.
