Rajasvalā Paricaryā is an integral part of the health system as per āyurveda, called Svasthavṛtta. It refers to the routine to be followed every month at the time of menstruation or periods. A myth propagated by modernity is that rajasvalā paricaryā is unessential to women’s health. This misconception has led to unnecessary health complications and avoidable discomfort. Thus, a thorough understanding is essential to prevent health loss.

In this workshop, we will take a deep dive to understand how following āyurvedic routines (or rituals) recommended during menstruation, maintain health for every woman. We will understand the reasons and provide direction on how to adhere to these routines. 

This workshop will elaborate on the answers to some key questions:
What is rajasvalā paricaryā or menstruation routine? What are the main practices that are game changers for women’s health?
What is the condition of the body during menstruation, that is, periods?
What kind of imbalances cause menstrual or uterine diseases in women and how is rajasvalā paricaryā related to it?
