Soilstry 2.0

This workshop addresses the critical soil crisis affecting our urban landscapes, providing you with essential knowledge and practical skills to make a real difference. It is a repeat workshop to Soilstry 1.0

21 Sep - 22 Sep 2024 Completed

Overview

Our cities need more soil that’s thriving with life and less concrete.

In our first workshop on Soilstry with course instructor Utsow, we covered the basics of composting and waste management. Through proper segregation and decomposition, learners were not only able to utilize their own biodegradable waste, some even reported a gentle waft of the forest in their homes.

Seeing the eager participation for Soilstry 1.0 workshop, we are pleased to follow up with two more back to back workshops with Utsow: a repeat of Soilstry, and Permaculture.

Soilstry 2.0 is your opportunity to begin composting—an easy yet powerful climate action you can take right at home. Address the critical issue of the worldwide soil crisis with actionable insights and embrace a nature-aligned lifestyle for a healthier, greener future.

Actions matter: As we have specifically designed this for urban and semi-urban audiences, we have a little extra for you. Start your composting, with our composting catalyst available for purchase at ₹ 500 (5 kg for 2 months for a family of 4-5 people). While this is optional, we highly recommend this beautiful partner to help you start your composting journey with confidence (Did we mention the forest waft?). The catalyst simplifies the process, eliminates the need for various carbon-based materials and accelerates the process of composting. You wil receive the purchase link for the catalyst via email after registration.

Learners can expect to learn composting (turning kitchen waste into nutrient-rich soil), waste management and the steps to transition to a regenerative lifestyle.

This workshop is your ticket to move from lament to action—join us!
